Refund policy

Introduction

This Return and Refund Policy applies to eligible purchases made through holidaysinbloom.shop.

We want customers to understand clearly how cancellations, returns, damaged goods, defective goods and refunds are handled.

This policy operates alongside applicable UK consumer law and does not exclude or restrict any statutory right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.

For return or refund enquiries, contact:

info@holidaysinbloom.shop

14-Day Cancellation Right for Eligible Online Purchases

Where the statutory cancellation right applies, a UK consumer may cancel an eligible online purchase without giving a reason by notifying us within 14 days after receiving the goods.

Where an order contains multiple goods delivered separately, the applicable cancellation period may be calculated from delivery of the final relevant item where required by law.

To exercise a cancellation right, customers should send a clear statement to:

info@holidaysinbloom.shop

The message should identify the relevant order and clearly state that the customer wishes to cancel.

Customers are not required to provide a reason for exercising an applicable statutory cancellation right.

Returning Goods After Cancellation

After notifying us of an eligible cancellation, customers should return the relevant goods within the legally applicable period, generally within 14 days after notifying us of cancellation.

Before sending any return, customers should contact info@holidaysinbloom.shop for return instructions.

Do not send a return to an address obtained from a parcel label without first contacting customer service, because supplier, carrier or fulfilment addresses may not be authorised return locations.

Condition of Returned Products

Customers may inspect goods in a manner reasonably comparable to what would normally be permitted in a physical retail store.

Where a customer handles goods beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, and the value of the goods is reduced as a result, a deduction may be made from a refund where permitted by law.

Where reasonably possible, returned products should include:

  • The product;
  • Original accessories;
  • Included components;
  • Manuals or instructions supplied with the product; and
  • Original packaging where available.

The absence of original packaging does not automatically remove statutory rights.

Return Shipping Costs for Change-of-Mind Returns

Where a customer exercises a statutory cancellation right because they have changed their mind and the goods are not defective, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed, the customer may be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods where permitted by law and where this responsibility has been properly communicated.

Customers should use an appropriate tracked shipping method when returning goods.

We recommend keeping the postal receipt and tracking information until the return has been completed.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Goods

If goods arrive:

  • Damaged;
  • Defective;
  • Incorrect;
  • Incomplete;
  • Materially different from their description; or
  • Otherwise not compliant with applicable statutory requirements,

customers should contact:

info@holidaysinbloom.shop

Please provide the order number, a description of the problem and, where reasonably possible, photographs showing the issue.

We may request reasonable information necessary to determine the appropriate solution.

Nothing in this process limits statutory rights.

Where goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise fail to conform to applicable legal requirements, remedies may include a refund, repair, replacement or other remedy according to applicable law and the circumstances.

Consumer Rights for Faulty Goods

UK statutory rights relating to faulty or non-conforming goods are separate from the change-of-mind cancellation rules.

Goods supplied to consumers are expected to be:

  • Of satisfactory quality;
  • Fit for their intended purpose; and
  • As described.

Where these standards are not satisfied, customers may have statutory remedies under UK consumer law.

This policy does not reduce those rights.

Items That May Be Excluded From Change-of-Mind Cancellation

Certain categories of goods may be excluded from statutory change-of-mind cancellation rights where permitted by applicable law.

Depending on the product, this may include goods that are:

  • Made to a customer's specifications;
  • Clearly personalised;
  • Liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
  • Sealed for health-protection or hygiene reasons and unsealed after delivery; or
  • Otherwise subject to a statutory cancellation exception.

An exception to change-of-mind cancellation does not remove rights relating to goods that are defective, damaged, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming.

Refund Processing

Where a valid refund is due following exercise of a cancellation right, we will process the refund in accordance with applicable law.

For returned goods, a refund may normally be issued after we receive the goods back or after the customer provides appropriate evidence that the goods have been returned, depending on the circumstances and applicable legal requirements.

Eligible refunds are generally processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or appropriate evidence of return, subject to applicable law.

Original Shipping Charges

Standard shipping on holidaysinbloom.shop is currently free.

Accordingly, there is normally no standard outbound shipping charge to refund.

If a paid premium delivery service is introduced and selected by a customer, statutory reimbursement obligations relating to delivery charges will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

Method of Refund

Refunds will normally be issued to the original payment method used to complete the purchase unless another method is expressly agreed and legally permitted.

Processing times after a refund is issued may vary depending on:

  • Bank;
  • Card issuer;
  • Payment provider;
  • Currency; and
  • Location.

These external processing periods are outside our direct control.

Refund Not Received

If you have received confirmation that a refund has been processed but the funds have not appeared, first allow the normal processing period specified by your bank or payment provider.

If the refund remains outstanding after a reasonable period, contact:

info@holidaysinbloom.shop

Please include your order number and relevant refund information.

Order Cancellations Before Dispatch

Customers who wish to cancel an order before dispatch should contact us as soon as possible at:

info@holidaysinbloom.shop

We will make reasonable efforts to process cancellation requests before fulfilment.

However, we cannot guarantee that a cancellation request received after fulfilment has begun can stop dispatch.

If the parcel has already been dispatched, the customer may need to follow the applicable return procedure after delivery.

This does not affect any applicable statutory cancellation right.

Refused or Uncollected Parcels

Refusing delivery or failing to collect a parcel does not necessarily constitute an effective statutory cancellation notification.

Customers wishing to cancel should contact:

info@holidaysinbloom.shop

This allows the cancellation and return to be properly recorded.

Exchanges

Where appropriate and available, we may offer a replacement or exchange.

Availability depends on inventory and the circumstances of the return.

Where an exchange is not available, another lawful remedy may be offered.

Abuse of Returns

Nothing in this policy prevents us from investigating suspected fraudulent or abusive return activity.

However, any investigation will be carried out consistently with applicable consumer law, and lawful statutory rights will not be denied merely because a customer has legitimately exercised them.
